LAS VEGAS — Two men were arrested in Pine Bluff, Ark., Thursday after using a credit card owned by a slain Huntington Beach man whose body was found near Jean, Nev., authorities said.
It was not immediately clear whether they were considered suspects in the slaying of Charles F. Richter, 38, whose body was found Sunday in an abandoned concrete tank near Jean, about 30 miles south of Las Vegas near the California state line.
Arrested were Billy Ray Morvin, 42, and Benjamin Jenkins, 29, the Las Vegas Sun reported.
Richter’s vehicle, wallet and watch were missing and police believe that robbery was a motive in the killing.
