The Assassination Bureau (TMC Monday at 4 p.m., Friday at 8 a.m.): The marvelously sexy and witty Diana Rigg is seen to great advantage in this overlooked 1969 British gem derived from a Jack London story in which Rigg plays a turn-of-the-century liberationist bent on destroying London journalism’s male exclusivity by uncovering an organization of paid killers. Bellman and True (Bravo Tuesday at 5 p.m., again at 10 p.m.): This pungent 1988 British heist thriller stars Bernard Hill as a near-alcoholic computer systems engineer forced to help a gang try to crack Britain’s National General Bank. The film crackles joyously as it manipulates its “Rififi” suspense cliches. (1:52)

Handle With Care (A & E Wednesday at 8 a.m.): Also known as “Citizens Band,” this neglected 1977 Jonathan Demme film was the first major production to deal with the CB radio phenomenon. Writer Paul Brickman and Demme hit exactly the right balance between reality and make-believe to create a successful topical comedy that boasts considerable feeling for its people and insight into contemporary Americana. Caught up in the fun are Paul Le Mat, Candy Clark, Marcia Rodd and Ann Wedgeworth. (1:38)
