Pasadena : Hearing on Water Shortage

Share

A public hearing to discuss whether the region’s water shortage has affected Pasadena will be held at 3 p.m. May 22 at City Hall.

Under the city’s Water Shortage Procedures Ordinance, if a water shortage is found to exist, a volunteer plan to reduce water usage will be put in effect.

The plan uses nine water conservation tactics including prohibitions on hosing or washing sidewalks, filling decorative fountains, serving water in restaurants unless requested, and watering yards between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
