French Train Record

PARIS —
France’s high-speed TGV train broke its own world rail speed record Wednesday with a run of just over 320 miles per hour, a spokesman for the national railways said.
The record was set near Tours in central France by the train that established the previous record of 302 m.p.h. last December.
