Stephens took control on Lap 2 of the eight-lap Street Stock figure-eight main event and cruised to an easy victory. The win put Stephens within 20 points of season points co-leaders Firsich, who finished second, and John Csorba of Oxnard, who raced third.

Ventura’s Cory Kruseman took the inside groove and passed six cars in Turn 2 of Lap 1 and went on to win the Mini Stock 12-lap figure-eight main event. It was his third consecutive figure-eight main event victory. Kelly Davis of Port Hueneme was second and Richard Webster of Camarillo placed third.

Ken Hewitt of Moorpark, Gary Curtis of Camarillo and Garrety were eight-lap Mini Stock heat-race winners.
