It was another good weekend for Touchstone Pictures’ “Pretty Woman.” With ticket sales of approximately $7.7 million, the romantic fantasy snared the No. 1 spot at the box office--and managed to surpass the magic $100 million mark.

Warner Bros.’ “Driving Miss Daisy,” which had $1.2 million in receipts, for eighth place, also made it into the $100-million club.

This brings to four the number of movies that have managed to pass the prestigious $100-million point since the beginning of the year. The others are New Line Cinema’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and Paramount Pictures’ “The Hunt for Red October.”
