Mark Boyd, a 6-foot-7 forward from Redan High in Stone Mountain, Ga., has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball at USC, the school announced today.

Boyd averaged 15.1 points, 12.1 rebounds and 4.0 blocked shots as a senior this past season in leading his team to a 19-8 record.

A four-year starter at Redan, Boyd was honored as an All-DeKalb County and All-Atlanta Metro performer as a senior.

The signing of Boyd completes Southern Cal’s basketball recruiting for this year, the school said. In the early signing period last fall, the Trojans signed Lorenzo Orr from Detroit Pershing High, Wayne Butts from Baldwin High in Milledgeville, Ga., and Kraig Conger from Wasson High in Colorado Springs, Colo.
