Vietnam’s Communist leaders, fast losing friends and funds as their socialist allies defect to capitalism, gave founding father Ho Chi Minh a loving but austere salute. The mood in Hanoi was somber as only a few foreign dignitaries attended a ceremony for the centenary of “Uncle Ho.”
