LETTERS IN VIEW : ‘Periodical Problem’ Brings Readers’ Postal Complaints
- Share via
I am one of the complainers who frequently receives biweekly Opera News two days to a week after the first of the two broadcasts the magazine covers. I even consider myself lucky if I receive it Saturday, after the fat lady has stopped singing. Frustrating.
In these days of computer-coded everything, could not magazine mail be coded in a way that would separate weekly, biweekly and monthly publications in order of priority? I don’t really care if I get Good Housekeeping on the first or the 10th of the month.
Isn’t it curious that the ubiquitous TV Guide always seems to get here on time? It must be one of those Cosmic Mysteries, like why your debit always gets to your checking account before your deposit.
