ORANGE COUNTY ALL-STAR BASEBALL GAME : Lovingier, Baker, Page Head South Team

Pitchers Kevin Lovingier of Laguna Hills High School, Dan Baker of Tustin and Duane Page of Ocean View head the list of selections for the South team that will participate in the Orange County All-Star baseball game, June 12 at Anaheim’s Glover Stadium.

The three were the winningest pitchers in the county. Lovingier, with 13 victories, also was the county’s strikeout leader with 131. Baker won 12 games and Page 10.

Dan DeLeon of El Toro will coach the 22-man roster and will be assisted by Dave Demarest of La Quinta and Ron LaRuffa of Fountain Valley.
