Litton Industries Inc.: The Beverly Hills-based electronic and defense company posted a $45.2-million profit in the third quarter of fiscal 1990, up a fraction over the same period of last year, on revenue of $1.26 billion, about the same as last year. The firm said its profit gains came from its military business, including advanced electronics and naval shipbuilding.
