Train Rams Truck Filled With Sewage; 9 Injured

INDIANTOWN, Fla. —
An Amtrak passenger train slammed into a tanker truck loaded with sewage sludge Monday, injuring nine people, none seriously, authorities said. The northbound train, on the Miami-New York Silver Meteor run, was carrying 153 passengers. Authorities said that the truck driver was ticketed for failure to stop at a railroad crossing.
