This great British band produced one of the most memorable bodies of work of the ‘80s--music characterized by relentless guitar feed back and alluring melodies that capturemarvelously the intensity of romantic infatuation. But shy, withdrawn brothers Jim and William Reid are not natural performers--and their concerts and videos were long a struggle. The interesting element in this collection of 12 video clips (“Just Like Honey” through “Head On”) is watching the Reids try to find ways to satisfy the need for video “dynamics” without turning themselves into false images.
