Nation IN BRIEF : NEW YORK : Cuomo Announces for Third Term

Gov. Mario M. Cuomo told cheering supporters in Albany, N.Y., that he will seek reelection. He was expected to win virtually unanimous support at the state Democratic convention today. Cuomo will face Pierre Rinfret, a millionaire economist and political newcomer chosen by Republicans last week. Cuomo, also a potential 1992 Democratic presidential contender, is seeking his third four-year term as governor.
