Jolly Good Shows: CBS Entertainment and the BBC have entered into an unprecedented comedy development agreement, officials for both networks said Monday. The agreement will provide CBS with an exclusive first look at comedy formats created or developed by the BBC over the next 18 months, with the option to create an American version for presentation on CBS. In addition, CBS Entertainment and the BBC will jointly develop four scripts over the next year, with the aim of presenting at least one series produced by the BBC for CBS in the summer of 1991.
