Woman Found Strangled Was 7 Months’ Pregnant
A 27-year-old Long Beach woman whose nude, partially decomposed body was found near the Foothill Freeway in San Dimas was strangled and had been about seven months’ pregnant, a coroner’s spokesman said Tuesday.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s investigators continue to search for clues in the death of Pamela Riedel, authorities said. Coroner’s spokesman Scott Carrier said it was unclear how long Riedel had been dead before her body was spotted May 31 by a motorist in a bushy embankment near the Covina off-ramp.
