PORT HUENEME : Man, 38, Slashed During Bar Fight
A Port Hueneme man was slashed in the head with an unknown weapon outside a bar Saturday night, police said.
Thomas Romero, 38, was in fair condition Sunday at St. John’s Regional Medical Center, where he had undergone surgery for hemorrhaging.
Port Hueneme Police found Romero bleeding heavily about 6:40 p.m. outside Circle K Market, 232 E. Pleasant Valley Road.
Romero and another man had been fighting inside a nearby tavern and continued in the parking lot, police said.
