LACMA Trustees Appointed: Robert Maguire, managing partner of Maguire Thomas Partners real estate developers, has been elected president of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s board of trustees. Maguire succeeds Daniel N. Belin, who will serve as chairman of the board. The museum also has appointed four new trustees: Robert Addison Day, chairman of Trust Co. of the West; Herbert Gelfand, chairman of the board of De Anza Group Inc., a real estate management and investment firm; Robert Halff, a retired advertising executive and screen writer, and Silim Zilkha, founder of Zilkha Energy Co., an oil and gas company in Houston.
