Bechtel to Expand Local Operations: The San Francisco-based engineering and construction giant said it will expand its transportation operations in Southern California and will open a new office in downtown Los Angeles. Bechtel Senior Transportation Manager Michael K. Stephenson and several key managers will begin the expansion by moving to Los Angeles, the company said.
