The man who portrayed Mike Fulton on the television sitcom “Punky Brewster” was arrested before dawn in Hollywood Tuesday, standing against a car and babbling incoherently.

Thomas Kent Carter, 33, of Duarte, who goes by the name of T.K., was booked for resisting police after he failed to respond to officers’ questions, Lt. Dan Walliser said. At one point, Carter allegedly took a combative stance, and officers used a stun gun on him three times, with no apparent effect.

Two patrol officers saw Carter standing in the middle of Sunset Boulevard at El Centro Avenue shortly before 4 a.m., Sgt. John Zrofsky said.

“We booked him for resisting because of his very bizarre behavior,” Zrofsky said.
