During the first quarter of this year, Alaska Airlines had the best on-time performance of any of the nine commercial carriers serving Orange County’s John Wayne Airport; 88.4% of its flights took off/arrived on time. Combined, the airlines achieved an 83.3% on-time rating for the 14,044 takeoffs and landings.

Alaska was also one of two carriers to achieve a 90% on-time ranking for either all its takeoffs or all landings--91% of its departures during the three months left on time as did 95.8% of TWA’s). Here’s how the airlines did during the January-March period, ranked by percentage of all flights:
