There’s No Pleasing Fans of Trail Blazers
After watching the NBA playoffs, I have come to some conclusions about the pro game:
1. Three seconds in the key does not apply.
2. Profanity does apply.
3. The “steps” rule does not apply.
4. The double standard on “superstar fouls” does apply.
5. Moving your pivot foot does not apply.
6. Deliberate flopping does apply (see Bill Laimbeer).
7. The key is too narrow.
8. “Illegal defense” is stupid.
9. The refs have an impossible job.
10. No one knows what a charge is.
11. No pro has ever committed a foul.
