Zales Robbed of Over $102,000 in Jewelry
Three men took more than $102,000 in jewelry from a Zales jewelry store in Lancaster, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Deputy Mike McNeil said that three men in business suits walked into the store about 11 a.m. Monday, ordered employees to lie on the floor, then smashed glass display cases and took the jewels.
One of the men was armed with a handgun and threatened employees, McNeil said. There were no injuries. The three fled on foot, he said.
