Reynolds to Retire as Burbank Fire Chief
Burbank Fire Chief Curtis V. Reynolds announced Tuesday that he will retire Dec. 30 after nearly 33 years with the department.
During Reynolds’ 15 years as chief, the department developed a hazardous-materials team and expanded its emergency medical services. He has recently been head of a campaign to build a new fire and police headquarters.
“I can leave with no regret, but with lots of good memories and a sense of satisfaction,” Reynolds said in a memo distributed to members of the City Council at their meeting Tuesday night.
