SIDELINES : Tyson, Foreman in Atlantic City
Mike Tyson and George Foreman will headline a double-header in September for Donald Trump at Atlantic City, N.J., instead of at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
“Donald Trump bought it over the weekend,” said Seth Abraham of HBO, which will televise the bouts. Tyson will fight Alex Stewart and Foreman will take on Francesco Damiani or Michael Dokes on Sept. 22.
After Tyson’s knockout of Henry Tillman and Foreman’s knockout of Adilson Rodrigues on June 16 at Caesars Palace, co-promoter Bob Arum announced that Tyson and Foreman would fight another double-header Sept. 8, probably at Caesars Palace.
“Caesars couldn’t agree on the price,” Abraham said today.
