LA HABRA : Carwash to Raise Money for Funeral
Friends and neighbors of Anthony William Sheehan, 11, who died Wednesday night after being struck by a car near his home, will hold a carwash today to raise money for his funeral.
The carwash will begin at 8 a.m. in a parking lot at Whittier Boulevard and Idaho Street, a few residential blocks from where the boy lived.
Anthony was on his way to a market to buy water Wednesday when he was fatally struck while crossing Whittier Boulevard against a “Don’t Walk” sign. Funeral arrangements are pending.
