This preteen vocal trio is the latest creation of Maurice Starr, the producer credited with grooming New Edition and New Kids on the Block into teeny-bopper icons. But this debut album is thin . Starr has these youngsters sounding so bloodless and robotized that they're like Stepford children. Nowhere on the album do these kids sound natural. Parents could use this record for mind control of unruly offspring: "You will listen and you will obey. . . ."
