Fiero Recalls Scheduled: General Motors Corp. scheduled recalls for 308,000 Pontiac Fieros over the next four months for repairs aimed at reducing the chance of engine fires. The model was made between 1983 and 1988. GM will start notifying owners in July, Pontiac said. It said 1,451 fires have been reported in the cars, 100 of them involving slight injuries. Owners should have cars checked immediately if they notice overheating, vibration or power loss, Pontiac added.
