Performance Show Set for S.D. Art Institute
The San Diego Art Institute will break down another barrier between the visual and the performing arts July 19 when Stage Seven Dance Theatre dances to video accompaniment in the gallery.
The free program, dubbed “Mutually Inclusive: Visual and Performing Arts,” will take place at 7 p.m. at the Institute in Balboa Park.
It features dancers Melissa Walker, Ben Corona and Pamela Learner, as well as San Diego-based musician Bill Wesley, who plays a hand-built imbira , an African-inspired hand piano.
