Hudson Hawk (Silver Pictures/Flying Heart Films). Jodie Foster’s directing bow concerns a middle-class woman (Foster) who almost loses her brilliant son to a teacher (Dianne Wiest) intent on touting him all over the country. Newman (Jube Films). Shooting in L.A. “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids’ ” Marcia Strassman stars in this inventive tale of two youngsters who whip together a nifty robot.
