6.5 Temblor Jolts Sudan

GOLDEN, Colo. —
A magnitude 6.5 earthquake shook Sudan on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. It was centered about 700 miles south of Khartoum, near Sudan’s borders with Uganda and Kenya, There were no reports of casualties or damage.
