Pasadena : Dorman Named to City Post
William R. Dorman, a Pasadena-based consultant and a former six-year city building administrator, has been named the city’s interim building projects administrator. City directors Tuesday approved creation of the $99,651 annual post and Dorman’s temporary appointment to oversee spending on city construction projects.
Creation of the job was suggested by the Capital Improvement Program Project Committee after the new police building increased to $23.5 million from an initial $17-million estimated cost.
