Judge Orders Woman to Leave Actress Alone

A Los Angeles judge Monday ordered a woman who had been harassing actress Teri Garr to stop contacting her and to stay 100 yards away from the actress, her home and her place of work for the next three years.

Superior Court Judge Robert Zakon issued the preliminary injunction at Garr’s request after she wrote the court saying the woman, who goes by several aliases including Morgan Brook and Susan Hull, had been harassing her for five years.

Garr said Hull repeatedly called her on the phone or wrote letters and that as often as three times a day, she would knock on her door or fill her mailbox with “personal and unexplainable items.”

The actress, who starred in the motion pictures “Mr. Mom” and “Tootsie,” said she feared Hull “may be prone to violent behavior.”

Hull could not be reached for comment.
