Share

Right beside your June 18 article was another about Moorpark, entitled “Officials Urge Tax for City-Run Ambulance.” It states that new taxes are needed for the city to establish its own ambulance station.

Now here we have a company that has paid taxes to Moorpark for many years and is in danger of being forced out of business, while city officials are claiming a need for even more taxes. How many businesses does Moorpark figure it can stand to lose? Who pays more taxes to Moorpark, the concrete company that was there first, or Tom and Pat Schleve?
