A Teen-Ager in Love? Doo-wop singer Dion is challenging a request that he undergo blood testing in a paternity suit filed by an air conditioner repairman claiming to be his son from a youthful romance, an attorney in West Palm Beach, Fla., said Thursday. Palm Beach County Judge John Phillips heard the request Wednesday and was expected to rule by today. Dion Ambrogio, 33, said his mother, Gail Schweitzer, told him when he turned 18 that he was the son of singer Dion Dimucci. Dimucci, who uses only his first name Dion, had a string of hits in the late 1950s with Dion and the Belmonts, including “A Teen-ager in Love” and “Where or When.” The singer, who is married, lives in Boca Raton.
