COUNTYWIDE : Man Gets 3 Years for Bank Robbery

A 31-year-old transient has been sentenced to three years and four months in prison for robbing an Oxnard bank, according to FBI officials.

Paul Karl Alexanderson was convicted on federal bank robbery charges after pleading guilty before U.S. District Judge William Matthew Byrne in Los Angeles on May 21. He also was sentenced to three years probation.

Alexanderson was arrested by the Oxnard Police Department on July 31, 1989, shortly after a robbery at American Savings at 560 S. A St.
