Xerox Corp.: The Stamford, Conn.-based document-processing, insurance and financial services company reported a 27% drop in second-quarter income--to $130 million. Revenue rose 2% to $4.5 billion. Its core document-processing business held up during the quarter, Xerox said, so the lower earnings reflect weakness in its other operations.
