All these articles on S&Ls; prompted me to write and ask: Why should my tax dollars help out these people who have lived and still are living so luxuriously and extravagantly? If they invested unwisely, that’s their problem.
I’d rather have a voice in where my tax dollars go. I’d rather my tax dollars be spent to help the poor, underprivileged and needy.
I wonder how many other people feel the same way about where our tax dollars go.
