California IN BRIEF : LA HABRA : Harden a Write-In for Insurance Post

John L. (Jack) Harden, a La Habra insurance investigator who ran fourth among the five candidates for the Republican nomination for state insurance commissioner, getting 311,886 votes in the June primary election, announced that he would run as a write-in candidate for commissioner in the November general election. The major party candidates on the ballot are Democratic state Sen. John Garamendi and Republican insurance agent Wes Bannister.
