New Kids Get Drawn Up: The New Kids on the Block have hit the books--comic books, that is. The group has announced a publishing partnership with Harvey Comics, the creators of Richie Rich and Casper the Friendly Ghost. A monthly series of comic books starring the group premiered this month under the new Harvey Rockcomics banner, which will publish four different comic books each month recounting the Kids’ humorous adventures. The first month’s titles are “New Kids on the Block: Step by Step” (the title of the group’s latest multiplatinum album), “Valentine Girl” (a hit single) and “Magic Summer Tour.”
