RTD to Offer Free Rides on Tardy Buses

Regarding “on-time” RTD buses; it is my experience that buses are as often late as they are early.

If I miss the bus because it is early, the wait for the next bus is excessive (more than 30 minutes). If I could depend on the bus being only late, it would actually be more convenient.

More frequent service would obviate both problems cited above and would also enable me to do things like stop at a store on the way to somewhere else, and then to board the next bus. Right now, a 5-minute stop for me becomes a 60- to 90-minute hiatus in my travels.
