The Elsie de Wolfe Foundation in Los Angeles has given a $35,000 grant to the Decorative Arts Study Center in San Juan Capistrano. The money will be used to add a classroom and research library. De Wolfe was a leading interior designer who established her career in Europe and moved to Los Angeles in the 1940s. Paintings, photographs and memorabilia from her estate are on view at the center (31431 Camino Capistrano) through Dec. 30, on loan from the foundation.
