South Pasadena : 10% Water Cutback Urged
Southern California’s continuing drought prompted the City Council to adopt a resolution asking residents to curtail water use by 10% compared with last year.
The council also urged restaurants to serve water to patrons only when asked.
South Pasadena belongs to the Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District, which has urged its members to adopt water-saving policies. If voluntary measures don’t achieve the 10% reduction, the city may consider enacting a mandatory water conservation program.
