Monrovia : City Scores Well on Services
Nine of 10 residents think that city services are adequate or better, and one out of four could not name a single thing that they disliked about living in the city, according to a recent telephone survey commissioned by the City Council.
The survey sampled 409 Monrovia residents from every corner of the city and every ethnic background.
The qualities most people listed when asked what they liked about living in Monrovia were the small-town community feeling, the city’s redevelopment efforts and proximity to other areas. When they found something to dislike, residents cited smog, hillside development and drugs.
