MOORPARK : Ex-Bank Manager Indicted in Fraud
A former assistant vice president and manager of the Moorpark branch of Simi Valley Bank was indicted Wednesday on federal bank fraud and embezzlement charges.
Frank John Szabo, 33, is accused of falsifying documents to obtain a $21,000 loan to buy a Mercedes-Benz, FBI spokesman Gary Auer said.
Szabo allegedly applied for a personal loan but used the name of an individual not connected to the transaction. Loan documents also contained fictitious credit and tax information, Auer said.
Szabo is scheduled to be arraigned in federal court in Los Angeles on Monday.
