Denver Bronco Coach Dan Reeves has undergone minor surgery in Redwood City, Calif., for hardening of the arteries and could be released from the hospital today, team owner Pat Bowlen said.

Bowlen held a news conference in Indianapolis, where the team traveled Friday for tonight’s exhibition game, and said he was told the procedure, called an atherectomy, went well. Bowlen said Reeves’ recovery should be “short and uncomplicated.”
