Santa Monica : CLARE Complex Dedicated
The CLARE Foundation last week formally dedicated its new adult recovery home complex at 1865 9th St.
The complex consists of a new dormitory-style building with 20 beds, and two renovated buildings on adjacent property. One of the buildings is for support staff, the other, an apartment-style building, houses another 20 residents.
The CLARE Foundation is a nonprofit, community-based agency partially funded by the Los Angeles Office of Alcohol Programs and the city of Santa Monica. The agency has 14 programs, including a recovery home for men, women and children, a facility for the deaf, and drop-in centers.
