Huldah C. Boughton; Homemaker

Huldah C. Boughton, a homemaker and longtime Van Nuys resident, has died in Camarillo. She was 94.

Born Huldah Katherine in Newark, N.J., she died Wednesday of congestive heart failure, said her daughter, Huldah Sampson.

Mrs. Boughton was married in 1915 to her husband of 63 years, Percy Boughton, who died in 1978.

The couple moved from New Jersey to California in 1951 to live close to their daughter and grandchildren in Van Nuys. She moved to Camarillo early this year.

She is survived by her daughter, who lives in Camarillo; grandsons Rod Black of Rio Vista, Calif., and Drew Black of Simi Valley, and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at Boughton’s Camarillo home with the immediate family only. Arrangements were made by Pierce Bros. Griffin Mortuary in Camarillo.

Donations can be made in Mrs. Boughton’s name to the American Heart Assn. or to charities for the blind.
