The U.S. Congress was never like this. Italian Parliament member Illona Staller--who goes by the name Cicciolina in her other occupation, porn star--turned her airport arrival in Buenos Aires today into sort of an impromptu striptease.

At a photo session after going through Argentine customs, she obliged when asked to expose her left breast. Photographers asked her to display her right breast, and again she complied. Cicciolina, 35, who was elected to Italy’s Parliament in 1987 as a member of the Radical Party, is visiting Argentina under contract to a television station. She said she plans “an erotic show, in which I will speak of world problems, such as the ozone hole and AIDS.”
