King Broadcasting Up For Sale: The majority shareholders in King Broadcasting Co. said they plan to sell the pioneering radio and television company and concentrate instead on preserving the environment in the Pacific Northwest. Priscilla Bullitt Collins, chairman of King’s board, and her sister, Harriet Stimson Bullitt, chairman of the executive committee, said they have not been pressured to sell and that the company is in excellent condition. King owns six television stations, six radio stations and 13 cable television systems, including one each in Los Angeles and Riverside counties.
